1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Stagiora (https://www.stagiora.com and related applications).
By accessing or using Stagiora, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
Stagiora provides tools for creating and verifying data authenticity in professional environments using a decentralized, locally processed architecture.
2. Service Overview
Stagiora enables users to create, manage, and verify records.
A key characteristic of the service is that:
- records are created and stored locally on the user’s device
- verification is performed locally using cryptographic methods
- Stagiora does not host or access user-generated records
To support verification, Stagiora may maintain public cryptographic indexes, which:
- contain fingerprints (hashes) and structural references
- do not contain original records or readable personal data
- allow independent verification without access to underlying data
3. Technical Requirements and Limitations
The reliability and security of Stagiora depend in part on the capabilities and integrity of the user’s device.
In particular:
- certain security functions rely on hardware-backed security environments (such as Trusted Execution Environments or equivalent secure modules)
- the availability and strength of these protections may vary between devices
For full functionality and trust guarantees:
- a compatible device with supported hardware security features may be required
- the use of modified operating systems (including rooting or jailbreaking) may disable or invalidate hardware-based security assurances
- such modifications may result in reduced functionality or inability to use certain features of the service
Users are responsible for ensuring that their device environment meets the necessary requirements.
4. Eligibility and Use
You may use Stagiora only if:
- you comply with applicable laws and regulations
- you use the service for legitimate and lawful purposes
You agree not to:
- use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activities
- attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service
- attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or bypass security mechanisms
5. Use of Public Indexes
Stagiora may make certain verification indexes publicly accessible.
You may use these indexes solely for legitimate verification purposes.
You must not:
- perform automated scraping or bulk extraction of indexes
- attempt to reconstruct underlying records or identify individuals
- use indexes for profiling, surveillance, or tracking
- overload or degrade the availability of the verification system
Stagiora reserves the right to implement technical protections such as rate limiting, access controls, or blocking of abusive behavior.
6. User Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- maintaining the security of your device
- safeguarding access to your data and records
- ensuring the accuracy and legality of the data you create
Because records are stored locally:
Stagiora cannot recover lost data, access your records, or restore them on your behalf.
7. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights related to the Stagiora platform remain the property of Stagiora OÜ or its licensors.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these Terms.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stagiora disclaims all warranties, including:
- fitness for a particular purpose
- accuracy or completeness of results
- uninterrupted or error-free operation
While Stagiora verifies the cryptographic integrity and structural binding of a record (for example, confirming that a record belongs to a specific Trusted Group), we do not verify, endorse, or guarantee the factual truth, medical accuracy, or real-world context of the images or metadata contained within the records.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Stagiora shall not be liable for:
- loss of data stored on your device
- indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- loss of business, revenue, or opportunities
Stagiora’s liability is limited to damages directly caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
10. Data and Privacy
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
A key principle is that:
- user-generated records remain under your control
- Stagiora does not access or store such records
11. Availability and Changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
We may:
- modify, update, or improve the service
- introduce or remove features
- restrict or suspend access where necessary
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if:
- you violate these Terms
- your use poses a risk to the system or other users
- required by law
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia.
Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Estonian courts unless otherwise required by law.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
